An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 jolted the Badakhshan area of Afghanistan within the early hours of Sunday, the Nationwide Centre of Seismology (NCS) reported.

The earthquake hit within the early hours of the morning at 06:30 am Indian Customary Time (IST), the NCS famous.

As per the Nationwide Centre of Seismology, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres. It was recorded on the Latitude 37.10 N and Longitude 71.12 E within the Badakhshan area of Afghanistan.The small print had been additionally shared on X.
